First place: All it took was a little ball control and a solid defensive effort. Just like the old days. Observation: The Colts fans are pathetic.
Quote from the AP recap story:
Making matters worse was a crowd that turned on the Colts during another abysmal first half. Titans fans chanted “Ed-die, Ed-die” for George, and Colts fans booed quarterback Peyton Manning and the struggling offense throughout the half. At halftime, following a missed 46-yard field goal by Mike Vanderjagt — the NFL’s most accurate kicker — the boos grew louder. By early in the fourth quarter, Colts fans were leaving.
Reminds me of the 2000 playoffs when the Titans travelled to Indianopoliis for a second-round game against the Colts and spanked them in the RCA Dome. The Titans fans were louder than the Indy fans. Ironic in a way because so many young boys in Tennessee are named Peyton.
