Steal this blog: The other day, I said that Esther Dyson’s 1995 piece on the “value” of information was the head-waters from which flow all current discussions on the topic of free content, copyright and piracy. Actually, I didn’t say it like that, but that’s what I meant. Anyway, as much as I implied that all we’re doing now is rehashing 1995 Dyson material, I take it back. Tim O’Reilly’s “Piracy is progressive taxation” is a whole new bag. Great stuff.
