Back online: Trying to catch up after a couple days travel is, well, you know. Fortunately, there hasn’t been a lot of “core” items to post. Just one from yesterday that I should have made, a NY Times review by Amanda Hesser of Martha Stewart’s new magazine, Real Food. It’s hard to tell, but I think her review is a positive one. Between Real Work, I’ll post a few “non core” items today. (For the record, this is the first post on rexblog made using the public beta version of Apple’s new web browser, Safari. I can already see (or not see) one problem with it: the progress bar is not sufficient. More later.

Later: Found the “status bar” enabler function (under “view” menu) which addresses my earlier complaint. New beef: While Safari seems very fast overall, it is slow here on weblogs, however, there’s at least a 60-40 chance that’s weblog’s servers.
