I predict success

I predict success: The NYT’s David Carr profiles the work going on preparing for the launch of Lifetime Magazine. The odds against starting a magazine in this saturated category seem daunting, but I feel positive karma about this project. (That’s my scientific approach to attaching value to having lots of money, a dominate media brand in the category, a means to market the magazine, backing from both Disney and Hearst, and, most importantly, the talent and experience necessary to publish a magazine that matters.)
