He’s been found: Former Iraqi minister of information Mohammed Saeed Al-Sahaf stands to pick up millions in licensing and endorsement deals if he’ll only come out of hiding. Apparently a London newspaper has found him (they used brilliant sleuthing skills to find him: he was at home with his family). He’s really nervous and, not surprisingly, whacky as ever.
Radical thinking: Believe it or not, Simon Dumenco, writing in the current Folio: Magazine, thinks AOL sucks. I know that will shock everyone who still thinks the AOL TW merger was a really smart idea.
Willy Stern’s secret: Nashville Scene investigative reporter has come out of the closet: he admits he’s a Republican. Who would have guessed? No one, it seems.
Sons of Men’s Health: Those who know me can fill in the blanks with the longer version of what I have to say about the influence of Men’s Health magazine on all that which has come since. However, David Carr does a good job today of observing how Smart Money now appears to be Men’s Health. While I agree with him, he could have easily picked up most any general interest consumer magazine on the newsstand and made the same observations and come to a similar conclusion.
