They once were blind: At their annual shareholders meeting today, Walmart announced it had begun testing some blinders that will, according to AP, “cover the photos and lanuguage on the covers of Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Marie Claire and Redbook.” It seems that some of their customers are offended when they see the magazines next to the check-out counters. Of course, if the offending magazines had been targeted to men instead of women, they probably would have been banned altogther.
