Ho-hum: Newsweek’s Seth Mnookin suggests “how to resuscitate moribund magazines.” Or, at least that’s what the sub-head says. In reality, it’s merely a rehash of Playboy vs. Maxim and Bonnie Fuller moving to US.

Back from the Bay: I’m just back from a quick trip (a longer one later this month) to San Francisco, so I have some catching up to do. Especially want to note that my hero and friend, Samir Husni, responded to the rexblog’s most recent mention of him, including my suggestion for a new joint venture between the two of us: “As usual, I loved your comments on my quotes and loved your idea on the new southern (rather Mississippian) magazine Bubba-JAQK.” |
