The less than perfect storm

The less than perfect storm: It’s strange to be basking in what has to be one of the most beautiful days I can ever recall in Washington while the local news media are devoting wall-to-wall coverage on the impending weather disaster bearing down on the nation’s east coast. It’s a category 5 and it’s going to destroy us all, no make that a 4, no a 3…a 2? But wait, we still have all those reporters along the coast and what about all those stories we shot this morning about charging all your batteries up? I thought Nashvillians getting ready for a 1/2 inch snow was amusing, but the DC TV news teams are currently airing what can only be described as “The Onion Local News” as their drama cranks up simultaneous to the hurricane’s wind dying down.
