Hippity-hip: While not nearly as scary as the original, the 30-second “flash-toon” version of the Exorcist reenacted by bunnies still kills me. Favorite part: Closing theme song. (via: BoingBoing)

Wireless froogling: The news about Froogle Wireless is several weeks old, however, it only recently occurred to me to bookmark the URL http://wml.froogle.com on my Treo 600. At a bookstore over the weekend, I simply entered a book’s ISBN number into the search field (the only interface element on the screen) and within a second or two, a list of prices appeared. I still purchased the book at my local bookseller, but was duly impressed.

So much for that ridiculous camera-phone-bar-code-scanner-gimmick I’ve scoffed at before (and here).

Don’t laugh, you were young and misguided once, yourself: Here’s the synopsis of the story: Magazine editorial assistant at one of the world’s leading magazine publishers posts whining rant on popular industry website. Gets fired (duh). Ends up as managing editor of a magazine most people think went out of business about 20 years ago, but thinks getting fired was the greatest thing that ever happened to her. (Rexblog observation: Not writing this new piece would have been the greatest thing that ever happened to you.)
