Person of the year betting odds

Person of the year betting odds: If I were a gambling man, I would NOT bet on any of those listed in this round-up of current odds on who Time will name its “person of the year.” I’m holding out for “citizen journalists, gossips, fact-checkers and activitists.” Along the lines of what Steve Rubel suggested last month, but somewhat broader to include the impact of the un-precedented grassroots political organizing efforts that took place among Christian evangelicals in Ohio and Florida.

  1. That would be the only selection if I were choosing: certainly the lynchpin of a wide array of news for the year 2004. I’m assuming, however, that the Time editors will do everything possible to avoid that choice as it IS so obvious.
