Tsunami Red Cross fund via Amazon.com: With each passing hour, the loss of life seems more tragically mind-boggling. Yet I sense a tsunami-like response in contributions from Americans (despite some whining by UN officials) is growing. One measure will be the collection page set up by Amazon.com on behalf of the Red Cross’s efforts in the affected region. At 4 p.m., CST, Glenn Reynolds reported the amount raised was $112,000. Now, 8 hours later, the amount is $850,000. That’s a clip of about $100,000 per hour. I’ll be adding a link to it at the top of my blogroll on Wednesday.
