If you run into your lawmaker this week: I missed this last week, but am glad to see where
Senate
Minority Leader Harry Reid introduced legislation
that would, in
effect, overturn the federal judge’s decision that was being used a
couple of weeks ago as a cause for the need to “crack down on bloggers”
who link to campaign websites. (Not that I thought it would ever
happen.) If you see your lawmaker at home during the Easter recess
(this week), you may want to do some citizen lobbying. (And don’t forget to sign that petitition urging the FEC to get a brain so that Congress won’t have to overturn any mistakes they make in rulemaking.)
