Note to all PSP owners who live in my household:  Don’t even think about it.

I think Rogers should start going by the name Pope Warhol XV: From a story on WashingtonPost.com: “I never really registered it with the intent of making money, and I
think to crassly auction it would be a sin of some kind. … Whatever
decision I make will be guided by the desire not to make 1.5 billion
people mad at me…including my grandmother.”

Expect lots of clown pie-fight clips: It’s not yet on their website, but I just received the following headline on an e-mail newsletter story sent by my friends at B-toB Magazine:

“Forbes.com names Bozzo director-video programming”

A random thought: If Mr. Bozzo had a daughter and she married the son (assuming there was one) of Amazon.com’s CEO, her name could be Bozzo-Bezos.

Another random thought: A google search of Jeff Bezos turns up this
about me” member page on Amazon.com. If it’s “real,” we learn that he hasn’t reviewed
a product or book
since 2003, however, he does update his wishlist more often.

A last random thought: Why am I doing this while eating lunch at my desk?

And the winner is… Rogers Cadenhead who registered the URL of the pope’s name last week.

Rogers, you should at least redirect BENEDICTXVI.COM to your blog.

By the way, I just learned that all Ben & Jerry’s everywhere will
start serving free ice cream for the rest of the day in celebration of
Rogers’ amazing accomplishment.

Update: So, the obvious question for Rogers is, “What are you going to do with the domain?”

His answer (in comments on this post):

“I haven’t found any papal encyclicals regarding the practice of
domain registration, so I suspect my spiritual well-being will hinge on
what I do with the domain name.

As a lapsed Catholic who lives in the oldest diocese in the
U.S., I can only conclude that my registration of this domain name was
a sign from God.

Though it may dismay some people to see it fall into the hands
of a blogger, it could have been worse: The world could have pulled up
benedictxvi.com today to find an ecommerce site selling Catholic
schoolgirl outfits for consenting adults.

(In other words, I have no idea what to do with the domain name. I didn’t think that far ahead.)”
