Agreeable in everyway: I’m happy to report that no food fights broke out at the “Respectful Disagreement” Food for Thought dinner at BlogNashville. In fact, it was a most delightful evening with old friends, most of whom I was just meeting for the first time.

Congratulations, Jacobs Posse: After staying out too late at a blog party last night, the four bloggers over at Jacobs Posse (jacobsposse.blogs.com)
are, at this moment, playing in their fourth lacrosse game of the day,
the championship game of a tournament. I wasn’t there, but I understand
that Blogger #1 passed to Blogger #2 for a score in one of the games.

Update: They won.

Global voices session at BlogNashville: I now know where I can learn about bloggers around the world, thanks to Rebecaa MacKinnon telling us about Global Voices Online. Here’s their wiki.

Minky is also here from Human Rights Watch.
(”A wire service for human rights.”) They have 170 RSS feeds. She is
showing us a new page on their site, “I blog for human rights.”

GatewayPundit: People in America “want international news.” I want to pay attention.

Dave: What about blog tourism…sending bloggers to a specific place.

Rebecca: I hope this is an international blogger movement. Not an American blogger movement.

Hossein (and others) discuss
why international issues can be confusing if you try to rationalize or
fit every issue within the context of American politics.

No way can I keep up with what’s going on: So, go here. And Dave
just posted some pictures, including one of me doing the fig leaf. (By
the way, the tool Dave uses to post is very cool.)

Lots of catching up: Been too
busy having fun to blog all lthe stuff that’s going on. Will catch up
as the day goes on. Rather strange morning already as I was called
rather early to say that I am in the Tennessean this morning.
