   I know I’ve said it too many times before on this blog (twice), but since my living room was where that song was first performed in front of an audience nine years ago (as my telling of the myth goes), I have some special thoughts about the couple who inspired it and Marcus Hummon, the songwriter who sang it that evening. (I’ll admit also wondering what the performance rights payments are on a song performed in front of 50 million TV viewers.)
