funnily enough I thought about this yesterday.
what does the verdict mean for iTunes (now supporting podcasting). OK - it’s hardly the
main use for iTunes, but still … The software
can be used for “illegal purposes”.
It’s also interesting to look at the list of Apple
endorsed music podcasts. I see your favourite Nashvillian is listed, but there are at least two others which I know have played (non-free) copyrighted material …
What is good with Apple’s entrance is that it will speed up the legal aspects of music podcasting … (well - maybe: the music industry has been sleeping in class again).

as I said earlier (in my iTunes/podcasting series - #5), I have no doubt the lawyers will show up.
