Tulane at Vanderbilt: A rexblog reader (one of the original seven) reports that several Tulane faculty members have temporarily re-located to Vanderbilt. The university is also participating in efforts to offer coursework to displaced students. By the way, the Tulane website has become a weblog.

I just received a note from Jim Bradford, dean of the business school at Vanderbilt, that a limited number of 2nd year MBA students from hurricane affected universities will be admitted for the second and third mods (quarters) of this academic year. Earlier Chancellor Gordon Gee created a special division to allow students originally from this area but displaced by the hurricane to continue studies while they wait for their university to recover.
