When I was a child and I’d see lightening bugs* on a summer evening, I’d think how neat it would be if I could collect a few of those bugs in a mason jar and they could power my own a little light bulb. It was always fun running around collecting the bugs, but the light never proved to be that bright and the bugs were dead by morning.
