Gordon Terry, RIP: Longtime rexblog readers know I am a fan of great bluegrass and old-time fiddlers. One of the greats, Gordon Terry, died yesterday.

    I wanted you to know that I appreciate the mention of Gordon Terry’s death. He was my father and I was very proud of him as a father and as a musician. It’s heartwarming to read the different articles about him and his career in both the news papers and online. My parents lived with me the last two months he was alive while Hospice cared for him. I will always treasure my memories of him and am thankful other people will remember him also.
