Best is only second best: Forbes Magazine has ranked Nashville as the 7th best place for business in the nation. But it only comes in second in Tennessee. Go figure.

Voice over IM: IM users will be able to get a free phone number, reports USA Today. Will we hear the term Skype killer today? Skypification? As much as I want to argue this move is a backwards retrofit that attempts to turn a new medium into an old, I think one should never underestimate the desire of teenagers to open up yet one more communications channel with their peers — even when they have nothing to communicate.
