Separated at search?

Separated at search? Maybe it’s just me, but that’s a, well, interesting photo selection in the New York Times today of Bill Gates and Eric Schmidt. It’s begging for captions.

Update: Now that I’ve actually found the time to read the article, I highly recommend it as a great example of how business history can be fascinating and instructional. Also, one of my go-to quote-meisters has a great snippet: “History, then, suggests that past success is often an anchor holding a
company back, and that Microsoft is at risk from the Google challenge.
“The wind is really behind Google, and Microsoft’s main tool for
navigating the future is the rear view mirror,” said Paul Saffo, a
director of the Institute for the Future, a forecasting consultancy in
Silicon Valley.”
