Time to fish or cut bait: Granted, I can’t keep up with these things, so when the chairman of Time Warner implies the company will sue Google, who spent $1 billion for a 5% stake in Time Warner’s AOL ten months ago, I have a hard time keeping my eye on the bouncing ball. So I’m not even going to try to figure out what Mark Cuban is advising media companies to do when it comes to Google. Something about taking the money — or not. I appears to me that when they took the billion from Google last year, T-W sorta made the bed it’s going to lay in.
