As I’ve blogged in years past, an early morning stop at Nashville’s Pancake Pantry has been part of our family’s Christmas Eve routine for almost two decades. (Visions of pancakes dance in our heads every December 23rd.) And each one of those years, Nashville’s (and perhaps the world’s) most incredible waitress, Mary (flanked by the 16 and 19 year olds), has been a part of that tradition. The rest of the day is much more mellow if you start out with a good stack of pancakes.
