Amazon.com’s doing the Google launch-a-day thing

Okay. I’m getting dizzy. In the past 24 hours, my RSS newsreader has hit me with Amazon.com-related news about wikis, online stores, space rockets and now something called NowNow. However, I can’t use NowNow because no one has invited me to the party (remember the early days of G-Mail?) Who does Amazon think they are, Google?

I found NowNow from the answers side – they are using the Mechanical Turk. (http://www.mturk.com)

Pretty strange stuff. Blair’s link took me to Amazon’s HIT, Human Intelligence Task. Clicking around led me to an account creation page. After creating an account I made $0.20 filling out a three line description of how I rated my alma mater (UNC-Asheville). It says it’s in Beta. Am I behind the times?
