Says Jimmy: “The reaction to Obama’s decision to enter the race reminds me of the iPhone introduction a week ago: Most of us are not sure what Barack is all about or what he’ll do for us, but we do know that we want him available now. Both Barack and (less likely, but stay with me) the iPhone may turn out to be beneficial for the U.S., but right now Americans’ enthusiasm for both is based entirely on (a) hope for the future and (b) disgust with the present.”
