    an unconference is an unofficial meeting of people who say things unofficially and then talk about them “off the record”. i do hope that clears it up. otherwise, it is a really good excuse for free schwag and a happy hour!

    By that definition, an unconference could describe any number of meetups of elected officials hoping to evade public scrutiny under open meetings acts. It fits right down to the swag and happy hour.
