Technorati has redesigned the page that serves as, in essence, a profile for a blog claimed by a registered user. It’s titled, “Everything in the known universe about…” which is a bit of an over-claim. There is a significant “social” component now included in the profile page — the avatars of all those who “favorite” a blog are now displayed. One might call this the “MyBlogLogification” of Technorati. Whatever you call it, I predict it will help boost the activity of Technorati “favoriting.”
Another big change is the new prominence of Technorati “authority,” which is, “the number of blogs linking to a website in the last six months. The higher the number, the more Technorati Authority the blog has.” In other words, if you have lots of posts about “The top ten reasons Apple will introduce the iThing next week,” you have lots of Technorati authority.

Maybe it’ll reduce the Technorati gaming?

Busy, I never could figure out the game, so I didn’t play.
