iPhone, the missing features

I knew there was something I was missing on my iPhone. Via Uncle Walty, I found it. Sudoku. Forget that I can watch movies, listen to audio books, check email, pay bills, whatever. Some people depend on the mind-numbing effects of Sudoku to help them forget they are waiting for an airplane that is two-hours late. However, I am in complete agreement with Mossberg, who writes: “Still, the whole system of running programs through the browser is more cumbersome and less satisfying than if you could directly install them on the phone.” (Clarification: At the moment, I am neither waiting for a plane or playing Sudoku.)

Wow. Talk about missing features. Check out this YouTube video in which a magician does some cool iPhone tricks — hint: he does it with mirrors.

  • You can get Sudoku at the iTunes store for $4.99. My husband has it on his video ipod and says it works quite well.
