It ain’t just the ad folks. The story below from Fox News describes a 58-year-old woman as “elderly.” She’s MY age, which is, what, 9 years away from full social security eligibility, and at least 7 years from getting a senior discount in most places. Heck, Mick Jagger is older than she is - sorry, bad example, he’s full of preservatives.

But on further reflection, will Bayaryans want such a magazine - these are people whose license plates bear phrases such as 2NDWIND and STLROCKN. So maybe the ad people aren’t so dumb after all.
