Exactly 17 years ago today, Labor Day was also on September 3rd. I can remember because the guy in the photo was born on that very day at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Interesting sidenote: He has grown nine inches in the past 24 months — since back when I posted this — and is now 6’1″. This morning, his first comments to me were, “I’m of age. I can do magic, now.” “Huh?” I say. “You’re such a newb,” he responds. “Facebook?” I ask. “Harry Potter,” he responds.
