My friend Greg Hinote has been named deputy mayor of Nashville by the city’s newly-elected mayor, Karl Dean. While I’m sure his service as U.S. Rep. Jim Cooper’s chief of staff is a significant reason for his selection to the position, around here, we know Greg more for his weekend gig: owner of the cool cycling shop, Gran Fondo.
