Cyclone Sidr support

The short half-life “news-cycle” regarding last week’s cyclone and subsequent flooding in Bangladesh seems to have ended and the on-going disaster has been pushed off the front pages of news sites and, probably, people’s awareness. (I’ll leave it to others to figure out why some disasters garner international coverage and others do not.) Unfortunately, there are still millions of individuals in need.       The US dispatched Navy ships and Marines to help supply humanitarian aid. Seems it’s not wanted in all quarters: http://www.indianexpress.com/story/242674.html

      You can bet they are not the ones with no homes, food, clean water or a place to sleep. And that they are not doing anything to provide it for their people, either.
