Some of the people who read this blog may remember that last July, I spent seven days in North Carolina making a Windsor chair. As I chronicled the experience in photography and video and took notes along the way, Jamie Roberts, the editor of American Spirit, a magazine Hammock Inc. publishes for the Daughters of the American Revolution, asked if I would write a story about the experience for the magazine. The story appears in the current issue and I thought some of you might like seeing it.

The full article is now posted on Hammock.com and you can view a full-sized digitized version of the magazine story layout via SlideShare by clicking on the little icon of the “movie screen” on the box on the left or you can view it on the SlideShare website.
