Dear Mark Perry at Nissan, I’d love to buy one of your new cars

The Chattanooga Times Free Press is reporting that Mark Perry, director of product planning and strategy for Nissan North America, said Monday that Tennessee will be one of the first locations where the company will sell its new all-electric car after it arrives in late 2010.

Sign me up, please.

Nothing I’d rather do than purchase a 100-mile-per-charge electric car that has a $7,500 tax credit via the “Stimulus Plan” from a company that has its U.S. headquarters in a Nashville suburb.

Sure. I know it’s not going to be a Telsa. But, then, neither am I.
