Note: I started doing some live-blogging, note taking, but I decided there were others doing a lot better job of live-blogging PodCamp Nashville, so I decided to re-tool this post.
Fortunately, many among the hundreds who attended, shared blog posts and photos and tweets using the tag “pcn09.”
At some point in coming days, I plan on posting a detailed collection of thoughts about PodCamps, BarCamps and other off-line events that have sprung up from the thirst people have for sharing information and getting hands-on knowledge about all of the ways one can now express him self or her self online.
These off-line gatherings are a major phenomena that I believe could end up being as signficant as the online “media of personal expression” and community-building tools that have spawned them.
