		<description>This is an interesting and timely post. My employers have been flirting with using Twitter lately while at the same time threatening disciplinary action to anyone who posts a status update to their own Twitter or Facebook page while on the clock. I see their point and, trying to being one of their &quot;not dumb&quot; employees, have ceased to use Twitter while I&#039;m at work.

In just a few short years, the workplace culture seems to have gone from firing or threatening anyone with a blog to management and marketing jumping into the game of social networking themselves. My bosses and coworkers are my &quot;friends&quot; and &quot;followers&quot; now. I just wish I could interact a bit while on the clock. Oh well. Baby steps.</description>
