When I saw this post about the digression of a banner ad campaign for an online game, I was amused. But I didn't think any more about it until the most recent version of the ad started showing up (via google adsense) on one of our sites. I just blocked the advertiser, but give me a break.

Attention Google Maps / Google Earth fan-boys (count me in). If you're familiar with layers in Google Earth, this is going to wow you. Next step, add some GPS enabling and you'll have a Google augmented reality super app.
