An end to the “consumption” vs. “creation” device debate

Before it launched, certain corners of executive suites at media companies hoped to define the iPad as merely a “consumption” device. Others (iincluding me) argued vigorously that it was also a “creation” device.

Time has proven the iPad (and the devices it will inspire from other companies, using other operating systems), are far, far more than any two such labels can encompass.
