I’ve been reminded by the husband of a New York Times best-selling author that I failed to include his wife’s book on my list of recently read books. He didn’t know my list includes only books read (or re-read) since December, 2001. Never-the-less, as the author and husband are watching the Super Bowl at my house tomorrow evening and she is the only best selling author I have on the speed-dial of my cell phone, I hereby declare that her book will forever remain on my recently read books, even if I have to re-read it every six months for it to remain there. My friend, the author, is famous enough to show up everywhere from Entertainment Weekly to Saturday Night Live (I heard her mentioned during a re-run last week on Weekend Update). My friend, her husband even shows up once in a while.
