Gored? While the rexblog tends to be apolitical, it’s not because I’m apolitical. It’s because the topic is overblogged by others. However, I can’t help but ask my fellow Tennesseans this morning if Andrew Sullivan is correct in this observation:

“The minute Al Gore endorsed Howard Dean, I instinctively opined that the Dean candidacy was finished. And, sure enough, as soon as Gore touched the Dean campaign, things began to go wrong. I should have trusted my instinct: Al Gore is always political death.”

While it may not be accurate, it IS funny. Speaking of political death, what will it mean to Gore’s political future (or legacy or power) if his endorsee can do no better than third or fourth in the upcoming Tenneessee Demo Primary?

What happened to all that fence mending?
