A day-late Mother’s Day thought: My sister (we’ve adopted one-another as siblings), Alice Randall is one of the authors featured on the side of Starbucks coffee cups as a part of the company’s “The Way I See It” program (from the site: “To get people talking, “The Way I See It” is a collection of thoughts, opinions and expressions provided by notable figures that now appear on our widely shared cup.”)
Alice’s comment is #36 for anyone who may be collecting the cups (I’m sure that somewhere, a lonely caffine-addicted latte-lover is trying to collect them all.):
“Mother-love is not inevitable. The good mother is a great artist ever creating beauty out of chaos.”
(By the way, Alice and her husband, David, were at the “Global Voices” BlogNashville food for thought dinner Saturday night.)
That’s pretty cool!
I thought you’d enjoy it.
