Microsoft rockrss: (see previous post — coincidental timing? or equal time?) This is what I’m talking about. The Microsoft folks are getting it when it comes to displaying how RSS feeds can be used to inform customers of up-to-the-minute information. Rather than viewing RSS feeds as merely another place to put ads, this displays to marketers the common sense that customers will gladly receive “commercial messages” if they come in the form of timely knowledge about products we’ve already purchased, or intend to purchase.
