I use one to hold almonds. An Altoids box holds one ounce, the recommeded daily serving of nuts.
That’s all? I have to deal with a lot more nuts than that during a typical day.
HA!
Those tins are great. The other thing that should be pointed out about Altoids is that the serving size for the mints is three – not one.
Here’s probably one of the most interesting uses for an altoids box I’ve seen. It was put together by a student at M.I.T. who wanted to build his own MP3 player. It’s pretty amazing! The link is http://www.ladyada.net/make/minty/index.html –enjoy
