Favorite new word – tyro: (Nugatory is so last week.) Today, via Dictionary.com’s word of the day, I’ve decided “tyro” is going to replace the word “newbie” in my vocabulary.
tyro TY-roh, noun: A beginner in learning; a novice. (From Latin tiro, “a young soldier, a recruit,” hence “a beginner, a learner.”)
technorati tag: tyro
We think alike too much. I was crafting a blog post on “tyrocasting” when I came across this post 🙂
