I used the iPad app Brushes to create this illustration to accompany a blog post regarding what I believe to be the foundation of great marketing. I decided the illustration did a better job than the post.
[Note: The “Give a man a fish…” adage has been parodied in countless ways — even with the term “teach a man to fly-fish.” After creating the line “Give a man a fish and he’ll eat for a day. Teach a man to fly-fish and you’ll sell him thousands of dollars of fly-fishing gear for the rest of his life” for the illustration, a google search revealed a very similar, previous thought posted in a fly-fishing forum.
